What does Cyst or Mole Removal Entail?
Cysts, moles, suspicious lesions, and soft tissue masses such as lipomas can be annoying and concerning. Dr. Williams will give you specific guidance regarding the diagnosis and treatment of your specific lesion at the time of consultation.
What Happens During Cyst or Mole Removal?
After all of your questions have been answered and you have gone over your consent, Dr. Williams will numb the area with local anesthesia and remove your cyst or mole. If indicated, Dr. Williams will send your lesion (mole, cyst, etc.) for further evaluation by a pathologist using a microscope.
Are There Complications with Cyst or Mole Removal?
Any surgical procedure has inherent risks associated with it. However, the procedure of cyst or mole removal has a low risk of complications.
